Summer at The Freethinking School
Freethinking SummerFest
Less screen time. More making, moving, experimenting, creating and discovering.
TFS Summer Camps give children opportunities to explore new interests, work with their hands, spend time with others and enjoy experiences that make their holidays meaningful.

Experiences, not lessons
Learning Doesn’t Have to Look Like School
Summer gives children something increasingly rare—time to follow curiosity without rushing toward an academic outcome.
Children can ask questions, build, experiment, move, perform, make art, work with others, spend time outdoors and try something unfamiliar. There are no worksheets or promises of “getting ahead”—just purposeful experiences and joyful learning.
Summer experiences may include
Different Days. Different Discoveries.
Each camp has its own mix. Not every experience appears in every programme, campus or age group.

Art & Making
Painting, craft, sculpture, design, building and open-ended creative projects.

Music & Movement
Rhythm, dance, movement games and opportunities for performance.

Theatre & Storytelling
Drama, role-play, imaginative storytelling and communication.

Little Chefs
Simple cooking and baking experiences with ingredients and preparation.

Nature & Outdoor Exploration
Gardening, nature observation, outdoor games and connection with the natural world.

Science & Discovery
Age-appropriate experiments, investigation, building and problem-solving.

Building & Making

Quiet Creative Time
Reading, sketching, individual projects and opportunities to slow down.
Not every minute needs to be scheduled
Room to Choose. Room to Explore.
Children do not need every moment of their holidays programmed for them. Meaningful free time allows ideas, friendships and creativity to emerge naturally.
Development through experience
Experiences That Stay With Them
The value of summer is not a certificate. It is what children practise, discover and remember.
Confidence
Trying unfamiliar experiences in a supportive environment.

Finding different ways to make, solve and express ideas.
Independence
Making choices and taking responsibility in age-appropriate activities.
Collaboration
Creating, playing and solving challenges together.
Curiosity
